Feeling Good at 15 weeks

The last 3 weeks have flown by! I must admit I have been slacking on my updates. The bad thing is that I have not really had too much to update you on. I have been feeling much better these last few weeks and the nausea seems to have subsided for the most part. Now I really only feel sick when I wait too long to eat and then eat a lot really quickly. So hopefully this is all a good sign, meaning I am almost over the nausea stuff. I have been a little more tired in the last couple of weeks than I remember, but I think I was too busy with school to think about being tired. Hard to believe I am already 15 weeks along. School wrapped up for me and I did pretty well with my grades, a little better than I thought I was going to do. My mom would say I am my worst critic. I will have a little break now until my summer class starts up on June 7. I am just taking one class over the summer. Jeremy and I started in on clearing out the baby's room this past weekend. We moved our computer desk and TV stand out and into the guest bedroom. The guest bedroom is pretty full now, but manageable. I think guest can still sleep and we can still pay our bills. Our next project will be clearing out the closet in the baby's room. That will be a big project. We have somewhat of a storage issue at our house. On a side note, I started my new job today as an Account Manager at GTM. I will miss some of the friends I had made in the Art Dept, but I am very excited about my new role within sales.

For those of you wondering what is going on with baby this week, here is the update:

Baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces about the size of an apple or a naval orange. It is busy moving amniotic fluid through its nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in its lungs begin to develop. Baby's legs are growing longer than its arms now, and it can move all of its joints and limbs. Although baby's eyelids are still fused shut, it can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at mom's tummy, for instance, it's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but it is forming taste buds.

This is all so amazing to me because I am feeling pretty good but not feeling anything moving around down there. Is it weird that I have something 4 inches big inside me and I can't feel it? Crazy!! We have our 16 week appointment on May 28th, so look for an update around June 1.
